The Harvest Market is designed to support individuals and families in Adams County and surrounding areas facing temporary or ongoing hardships by providing food assistance to help them transition to a more stable state of food security. Thanks to the generosity and partnership of our friends at Under the Horizon Pottery, our Harvest Market is conveniently located at 2650 Biglerville Rd., Gettysburg, PA. Hours are listed below.
The Care Closet
The Care Closet is a loan program that provides medical equipment (free of charge) to individuals experiencing medical hardships. We understand that not all equipment needs are fully covered by insurance, and we want to come alongside and fill in the gaps as resources are available. If you have medical equipment that you are no longer utilizing and would like to donate or if you need a particular item, email mike@gh-community.org today!
Graceful Beginnings
Coming in 2026! We will be launching a program for at-risk mothers and foster parents, serving as a resource for essential baby equipment, clothing, and diapers.
The Hope Project
The Hope Project 2025 is officially a wrap! The Hope Project is a confidential program that connects anonymous Holiday Heroes with children and families facing hardship, enabling them to provide Christmas gifts, bringing joy during the holiday season. This program brings community members together to show care and compassion for their neighbors. With the community's generosity, gifts were provided to 82 children in 28 families! Thank you for blessing families right here, in our community! We are excited for another amazing year next year!
